A Brief History of Thanksgiving Holiday Online

While the origins of Thanksgiving begin with the 1621 meeting between English colonists and members of the Wampanoag peoples, there is much more to the story. The institution of this holiday in the American calendar has an interesting story that involves both Federal and individual State decisions.
