Birds of the Great Swamp In-Person
Join John Gribbin as he shares his wealth of knowledge on the birds that call the Great Swamp National Wildlife Refuge home. John will discuss the birds he's seen and share photographs that he took at the swamp--just minutes away from the library!
John Gribbin is a retired civil engineer who previously taught engineering technology at Essex County College in Newark. He has been an amateur photographer for over twenty-five years shooting landscapes and street scenes. Since the pandemic he has concentrated in bird photography in such settings as the Great Swamp, Meadowlands, Palisades and Cape May.
