Importance of Estate Planning: Preparing for the Inevitable Online

Estate planning is not something that many people consider until it is too late. A delay in planning can result in costly estate litigation, guardianship proceedings, Medicaid recovery and many unintended consequences for your loved ones if done incorrectly. Please join Adam Lipps, Senior Staff Attorney for Central Jersey Legal Services, Inc. as he will explore the necessary estate planning documents, including but not limited to, wills, living wills, power of attorneys and trusts. He will also explore valuable Medicaid planning tools such as the life estate deed. It is our hope that after this presentation you will be equipped with the important tools to prepare your estate planning and documents.

Adam Lipps received his BS in criminology at the College of New Jersey and his JD at Seton Hall, School of Law. He is admitted to practice in New Jersey, Pennsylvania and the District of New Jersey. His areas of practice at Central Jersey Legal Services include estate and Medicaid planning and consumer protection. Prior to joining CJLS, Mr. Lipps was in private practice and focused in civil and criminal litigation, business planning and transactions, probate practice, real estate transactions and some family law.
